This project has not been successfully funded. Sorry!

Feeling lost and don't know what all of this is about?

Wise Gears Team, The Egyptian Champion of FTC (First Tech Challenge) National Competition 2018, and the nominated team to represent Egypt in the International FTC Competition in USA, needs your help!

Our team needs sponsors to be able to travel to Houston, Texas – USA and represent Egypt. During our journey in the last two years we have been honored to be The Arabian FTC Champion -2017 & The Egyptian FTC Champion 2018. Our coaches and parents have done their best to finance our passion to Science and Technology, supplying us with material and equipment we need to make our Robots, paying for our courses and travel to several events nationally and internationally, they supported us all the way but unfortunately they can’t afford the high expenses of travelling and staying in USA for a whole week to represent Egypt in the International Challenge.

We tried our best to fundraise our team by offering workshops for kids and selling handmade accessories, but of course we couldn’t collect even 5% of the required amount to secure out team trip.

We don’t request from sponsors to finance all our trip expenses, we can afford team registration and USA visa fees but we still need funds for the flight and accommodation which will be around US$ 12,000

We hope you can sponsor us with the whole amount or part of it. We will be grateful for any aids you can offer for our team to be able to represent Egypt in the International FTC Championship

FTC is way more than building robots. FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Participants call it "the hardest fun you'll ever have!"

Guided by adult Coaches and Mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles (like keeping an engineering notebook), while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and can be programmed using a variety of languages, including Java. Teams also must raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach for which they can win awards. Participants have access to tens of millions of dollars in college scholarships.

Each season concludes with Super-Regional Championships and an exciting FIRST Championship.

So we would like YOU help us complete our journey and achieve our dream.

If you can't help us financially you can share and help spread the word so we could achieve our goal

Thanks for any help or contribution to make our team better
