Feeling lost and don't know what all of this is about?

Community Project 2019: Drive Safe, We Care!

Our main community development cause for this year consists of installing reflectors and solar lights on one of Kesrouan's most congested roads.

We have selected a 6.5 km road currently unlit and dangerous in Nahr Ibrahim - Yahchouch, which leads to several villages including, Bazhel, Fatre, Adonis, Yahchouch, Ghine, Nahr El Dehab, among others.

Nahr Ibrahim road leads to Jabal Moussa UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Valley of Nahr Ibrahim (also known as Adonis Valley) is a Natural site and it's on the tentative list of UNESCO world Heritage sites.

This year, with the support of Yahchouch municipality, we are joining forces with the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa (APJM), www.jabalmoussa.org not-for-profit non-governmental organization. APJM was founded in 2007 with the aim to conserve and protect the rich natural and cultural heritage of Jabal Moussa from increasing external threats, and to achieve local socio-economic development.

If we reach our goal, we will expand our project by lighting up 2 extra km of the Yahchouch - Chouwan inside road.

Traffic Accidents in 2018 claimed the lives of some 450 people in Lebanon, and upward of 5,000 accidents occurred.

What We Need

The goal of our project is to promote road safety and reduce accidents through sustainable implementation while focusing on a 'go-green' initiative and using sustainable material.

In order to reach our goal, we need to raise $30,000 to implement our community project.

Our Milestones

#1: $3,000: We will be able to cover 0.6 Km of the Nahr Ibrahim road

#2: $10,000: We will be able to cover 3 Km of the Nahr Ibrahim road

#3: $15,000: We will be able to cover 4.5 Km of the Nahr Ibrahim road

#4: $20,000: We will be able to cover 6.5 Km of the Nahr Ibrahim road

#5: $30,000: We will be able to cover 6.5 Km of the Nahr Ibrahim road and 2 Km of the Yahchouch-Chouwen road

WE NEED YOU !

Your highly appreciated financial contribution can help us make our project come true! You will be contributing in saving people's lives! No contribution is too small.

$1 can make a difference!

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

In case you can't back our project financially, please share it and help us spread the word!
