Campaign successfully funded on: 01 Aug,2018
Established in 2016, The Beirut Center of Photography is a non-profit organization dedicated to photography and visual culture based in Beirut. We organize exhibitions, workshops, debates, and educational programs. Our goal is to position the Middle East and North Africa on the photography world map.
To allow photographers to get better exposure, we would like to build a trilingual website in English, Arabic, and French to promote photographers and visual storytellers from all over the region.
Driven by photographers, journalists, and other imaging professionals, the website will serve as a directory for photographers. It will include a blog that will talk about new technologies, exhibitions, workshops, and every event related to photography in the Middle East and North Africa.
With $ 5,000, we will be able to create and launch the BCP platform during autumn of 2018.
With $15,000 USD, we will also be able to ensure the editorial animation as well as the maintenance of our platform for one year.
With $20,000 USD, we will ensure the running of our platform for two years.
With your help, we will be able to keep photography alive in this part of the world.
