Since the beginning of the year Eline, who is origionally from the Netherlands, has been devoted full time to the Cairo Phoenix innitiative. Before that she contributed to the introduction of concept of 'Coworking' in this region and worked 2 years to help build this new community of entreperneurs at the District, a coworking office in Cairo. Prior to moving to Egypt she worked in Fairtrade fashion and got introduced to social entrepreneurship through her involvement with The Hub Amsterdam where she consulted a social fashionbrand called Rambler that works with teens from the street, using creative expression as a tool to translate their experiences into fashion designs. She has a passion for community building and bringing out the best in everyone. One example is her involvement in The Art of Hosting community both in The Netherlands and in Egypt (they faccilitate conversations that matter). She is comitted to make a substainable contribution to women who have gone through sexual assault and explore different tools of creative expression to support women during their healing process. The human connection is at the core of her mission.
