My name is Sangho Yi, a CEO and founder of a company called 'Mand.ro', where the company manufactures robotic prosthetic hands for people with amputations. The hands are not only affordable, but also fully-functional, light-weight, and even easy to produce with local sources of material with 3D printing technologies. Mand.ro has one ultimate mission. “There shouldn’t be anyone who cannot use prosthetic hand because of money.” To achieve this goal, we will work on what is needed, and it will enable us to bring better lives for amputees in the world. In Lebanon, 1 million Syrian refugees continue their unstable life, and there is a high ratio (2.5%) of disability which is incurred by Syria Crisis. We will help them with low-cost, light- weight, fully-functional prosthetic hands, called Mand.ro hands.
