As practicing fine artist and cultural facilitator I have lived in North Africa since 2009. I set up Culture Vultures as an umbrella company not long after moving to Morocco to bridge artists and craft makers from abroad and Morocco with the public at large. My art practice is often eclectic and often takes on the aesthetics of kinetic clusters. At this point that I draw parallels with the role of Cultural coordinator. It is the assemblage and collaborative qualities that excite and stimulate my daily life here in small town Morocco. Initially it was the tools, methods and workshops that attracted me to the artisanal quarter of ancient Fez. Since stepping into the ateliers the welcoming, it is generous people and the stories they share that are the driving force of this project. To them I salute.
