In 2016, I decided to dedicate myself full time to projects in music industry - both on stage, behind the scenes, and in offices - and and I haven't looked back since. I'm a performing singer-songwriter from Jordan, and I'm releasing my latest album in the fall of 2017. The songs on this upcoming album have a new sound for me, one that is a change from my past material (which was mostly acoustic singer-songwriter style). Past performances include a range of venues, from intimate listening rooms to festivals and outdoor stages, in the Middle East and the US. My favorite venues - whether performing solo or with the Overthinkers (a name I've given the talented musicians that join me on stage) include: headlining shows at the The Ark in Ann Arbor, Michigan; The Other Side in Dubai; the Citadel and Jerash in Jordan; Sakia stage in Cairo, and an opening set in Istanbul. I communicate best through music and excel sheets, and I love spending my time on stage and in desert canyons. When I'm not working on my own music material, I like to keep myself busy with multiple projects in the music scene. One of them is BalaFeesh - a concert series, content producer, and artist management agency I founded that promotes independent artists in the Arab world. Other projects I'm involved in reside in spaces where music and technology meet.
