About Me Egyptian. New Yorker. Doting mother of two. I graduated NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a double major in Film & Economics. One of my greatest accomplishments was producing the feature Egyptian film CAIRO 678, which delved into the issue of sexual harassment in Cairo and eventually went on to become the most distributed and award winning Egyptian film in recent years. I’m the Jane of all trades! I am skilled in the different aspects of filmmaking. Growing up, I always imagined myself to become a multi-lingual superhero and acquired language skills in French, Italian and fluency in Spanish. I freelance produce movies about subjects I am passionate about and I work on projects that can further develop humanity. I used to be a figure skater, but now that I’m in Egypt, ice and such notions have become bittersweet things of the past. I’m big on health—I love running and reading about ways to keep my family safe and healthy. I also have a knack for interior design. I love watching movies and brainstorming on anything and everything! I’m addicted to random acts of kindness.
